Founded by a busy mom for busy moms.

While living on the Bogue Sound in North Carolina, our owner, Lainey, started this company because she realized moms never have time to shop-especially with their girlfriends! Secondly, it was impossible to find clothes that were stylish, didn't cost an arm and a leg, and were conducive to running around chasing her 2 boys. Thus, Belle of Bogue was born! While we enjoyed our time in the salty air, a year after opening, we moved to Gwinnett County, GA.  Lucy the Trailer in Georgia launched in October 2016.

Our goal is to keep you feeling good and at your convenience! We love working with clients to find clothes that work for them. With Lucy, our boutique on wheels, we can park in your driveway for a girls night, at your office for a lunch party, private showings with one on one attention or online consultations.

Boogay? Bogwa? Boogie?

Our name is our history, pronounced like Vogue, with a B. It is the Sound Lainey lived on when opening the store.

A little about Lainey.

Wife. Mom. Proud military spouse. Die hard University of Kentucky fan.

A born and raised Kentucky girl, I attended the University of Kentucky and then Murray State University to receive a degree in elementary education. After teaching a year, I took a year off to have a baby and move to North Carolina. Once we got to the Crystal Coast, I struggled to find a store that met my needs. I loved living on Bogue Sound, but not having somewhere to shop was an issue- so I opened my own store! When you shop with us, I hope you feel like you're shopping with an old friend. I hope you leave feeling confident and fierce.
